I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and have been serving as a therapist and social worker since 2015. I decided to dive into therapy because of my fascination with human behavior, knack for creative problem solving, and own lived experience. This stuff works!

 

I had the honor of cutting my therapeutic teeth at LA's Department of Mental Health, first serving adults and teenagers at their Skid Row and  Northeast clinics. I have worked with couples, transitional aged youth, and children. In 2020, I was also a first responder and disaster service worker for the COVID shelters as a part of Project Roomkey.

 

My experiences working in community mental health have greatly shaped my clinical orientation; which is trauma-informed, holistic, emotion-focused, and strengths-based. I am passionate about working to solve the homelessness crisis, and broadening access to quality mental health care.
